a friend of mine is thinking of getting cosmetic surgery in croatia next month’and i asked had anyone ever had any done there or how did they find it’ one reply said that you have to give the surgeon a present and the better the present the better it will be for the patient! is this a joke or what? some other people agreed about this too!
I haven’t had any surgery in Croatia, but am familiar with the state of things there. Bribery and corruption are very much part of everyday life in the whole area, or better still, in the Balkans in general. It’s not a joke, unfortunately.
