I’m 19yrs old and i have no source of income i mean i have some money inmy savings account my i make no income. I’m looking for a job but havent been successful but right now i need health coverage and my sister is on medicaid and its free for her is that because she has kids? Can i get the same coverage as her?

yes, since your a female you are qualified. you need to go to your local family and children service building ( where you sign up for food stamps). there you can sign up for food stamps and healthcare. i think that all women and children are eligible. good luck!!
In most states I believe that you can only recieve Medicaid if you are Pregnant. You can look up your Local Health and Welfare office and call them for more information.
I believe you can only get medicaid if you are pregnant. Then your child can have it. After giving birth you will have the medicaid for a few months but then it is taken away.
Its only free because myself and the other taxpayers are paying for it. On behalf of all the taxpayers, I want to thank you for considering to let us pay for you being on medicaid. I can not think of a better use for my tax dollars.
You have to have at least one child and proof that you meet the income requirements. The place to go is your local social services or health department. It has to be in the city and county you reside in. It is free but there are restrictions such as finding a primary care doctor and going there for your chief medical complaints. If you need to see a specialist lets use for example a gastrointestinal doctor then your pcp has to give you a referal or medicaid won’t pay for it. There is also a low co-payment on doctor visits and medications. It is sad that we all can’t have affordable health care. Yet this is the richest country in the world.
Not unless you have children to support,or are disabled.
PLEASE don’t go get pregnant to get medicaide!
If you have a sister on it,why hasn’t she told you the facts about it?
Medicaid is free health insurance. The best way to find out if you qualify is to contact your local Department of Human Services or Family Independence Agency. If that does not work call your local chamber of commerce or hospital and they can tell you where your next step is.
stop looking for a job and go out there and get one.
go to college as well. prepare for your future. you can only count on yourself . i would not trust the government with my future. you deserve much more and should get much more.
